A title sequence created for Guy Ritchie’s 2000 gangster comdy film, Snatch.
To highlight the film’s dark but unserious aesthetic, a play on Helvetica is used, with letterforms and cast credits jumping around and jittery. I texturized the letters to empahsize the gritty, criminal underworld of London. Complete with illusrations of each characters with exagerrated anatomy and yellow accent colors, the title sequence riffs off the film’s chaotic and lighthearted violence.
